The westernmost part of the Peruvian Amazon are the 2 regions that encompass this coffee growing region. The Mishagro group of farmers come from the 3 provinces listed above and consist of over 150 members with roughly 40% women. The coffee is grown at between 1300-1800 meters, with varietals of Typica, Pache, Bourbon and Caturra. Naturally grown without the use of pesticides the coffee is fully washed and sun dried on raised beds.
