More Information:

Cajamarca is one of two of the westernmost regions of the Peruvian Amazon.

It is situated in the Andes Mountain range, which provides the ideal altitudes and climate for coffee bean cultivation. As a result, it has become one of Peru’s largest coffee-exporting regions.

The Cooparm Cooperative was founded in 1990 by the parish priest of the province, Father Antonio Rodriguez Arana. He founded the group in order to improve the livelihoods of Cajamarca’s coffee farmers.

Now, Cooparm Cooperative has over 500 members and partners located in various parts of the province. They are credited for making a significant impact on the economic and social development of the province.

The co-op not only deserves praise for improving the lives of their farmers but also for their commitment to sustainable and high-quality coffee cultivation.

The coffee is grown between 1300-1800 meters which provides the best conditions and climate for specialty beans.

It is 100% organically grown. The beans are always hand-picked, washed, and naturally sun-dried. This method is environmentally friendly while also guaranteeing high quality.

The result is a perfectly balanced, rich, and flavourful medium roast from a group we are very proud to be associated with.
