The Rungeto co-op farmers was formed in 1997 establishing 3 washing stations including the Kii washing station, near the river Kii and at the foot of Mount Kenya. The cooperative is working with over 1000 farmers mostly smallholder farms where education sustainability is paramount. The meticulous handling of the coffee has led to Kenya producing some of the worlds finest coffees.
