COOMUCABOY is a cooperative made up of 20 women from the Department of Boyaca in the Andean region of central Colombia. Formed in 2015 the coffee growing group has multiple objectives starting with the cultivation of high quality coffee together with environmental sustainability,economic development benefiting families and the community as a whole. Grown at over 1700 meters with varietals of Castillo, Caturra.Colombia and Typicaa. The coffee has 2 growing seasons and is shade grown under fruit trees and processed using the fully washed method then sundried on cement patios. This a darker roast with a strong aromatics. Perfect for those that enjoy a stronger heavier roast profile in their french press.
